Mr Monwabisi Maclean, Chief Director: Capacity Development of the Department of Human Settlements, has officially endorsed the HDA’s Land and Property Spatial Information System (LaPsis) programme, which is being offered to officials in all spheres of government.
LaPsis has different layers of data that provides users with a more integrated spatial picture in order to support planning.
Maclean indicated in his letter of endorsement that his directorate is also in the process of developing a curriculum on home ownership and the property market as part of MTSF targets, and LaPsis can be incorporated into this curriculum for beneficiaries.
