The HDA has concluded an implementation protocol (IP) with the Limpopo Department of Local Government and Housing. This protocol enables the Department to utilise land assembly services of the Agency. The HDA has taken transfer of 72 hectares of land and is currently attending to the preparation of the land to ensure the development of a mixed-use, mixed-income, integrated and sustainable human settlement. To inform the final township design, the HDA conducted a market survey to determine actual housing needs in the area and the appropriate mix of housing typologies. This was all made possible by cooperation between the HDA, the province and the municipality.
