The Cornubia Integrated Human Settlement Project is situated in the northern corridor of the eThekwini Municipality. The project is a joint initiative of the municipality and a private sector partner, Tongaat Hulett.
We have been involved in the project since its inception, and facilitated the development of the Cornubia business plan and the land acquisition process.
In 2012, the project commenced with the delivery of the first phase of low-income houses.
A site inspection and project briefing was held with the programme manager of the eThekwini Municipality, officials from the Western Cape Province Department of Human Settlements and the HDA regional office on 9 June 2015.
