A training manual has been developed to help staff make better use of LaPsis,an online spatial geographic information solution that has been developed to provide a mapped view of potential areas for human settlement development.
LaPsis provides a visual picture of the HDA footprint, as well as a picture of the identification, acquisition, holding and release of these properties.
LaPsis draws on various data (spatial and alpha numeric) and information, and links to a relevant property to support decision-makers in making informed judgements about any property in South Africa.
By using the system, users will have access to a comprehensive Geographic Information System. This product is primarily aimed at users in our regional offices.
